Each file contains global hourly average data for one year from MERRA-2 at the native spatial resolution of MERRA-2 (0.5 deg lat x 0.625 deg lon). Variables are grouped by the file collection the data came from, as each file collection has it's own doi. IVT was computed from the u and v components in the tavg1_2d_int_Nx file collection.
